Klaas Piet Meindertsma – our memories of him
Klaas Piet Meindertsma, founder and managing director of 2ARC, passed away on 7 January 2021, aged 64 years. He has been suffering from an incurable disease since spring 2020, which struck unexpectedly and quickly at a time when there seemed to be hope for some extra time to live.
After the sad news of his sudden death, we think back on Klaas Piet how he was, how he thought and spoke, how he inspired and guided us and how we made plans for the future together.
He did this with a Dutch-Frisian sobriety with a Burgundian slant: bold, critical, sometimes grumbling, but always with a warm interest in the human factor in business. With great skill and dedication he has made a major contribution to the building and expansion of formerly CSI and later 2ARC, MARC Ventures and related companies. Until the end of his life, he has guided the business strategy of 2ARC and ensured that the continuity of 2ARC is guaranteed.
Following this we will continue 2ARC and remember Klaas Piet through the many beautiful memories of him.
